Went here to see England thrash the Aussies in a one-day international. The setting is super, the food offering much more reasonable than at other top cricket grounds. The only drawback is the cool breeze that blows in these parts even in the summer, so remember to take a pullover at least.

Attended England/Australia ODI. The whole experience was fantastic. We had good seats. Getting into the ground was simple even though bags were checked etc. The stewards were friendly and helpful. There was a wide range of catering units, offering a great choice of food and drink. We parked at the designated Park and Ride, which was brilliantly organised and hassle free. It was very reasonably priced and there were no queues to get out at 9.30pm. Overall we had a superb day.

It was my daunter’s Christmas present to me. Tickets to watch the sand paper kind get obliterated by England for once in their pomp. The signage to our seats was overwhelmed by the attendant tv vans just how much gear do you need.
The stewards were helpful and not so petti as earlier in the week at Cardiff and Nottingham. We had time to walk around the stadium. There was a great variety of purveyors of food and drink as well as a very large beer tent. Better in my opinion than any of the other grounds.
The spectators were not noisy as at Trent bridge and old Trafford . Waited to the end of the over before going for more beer or to get rid. They did not keep throwing their arms in their like some revivalist congregation at critical stage in the days play in wales.
I was able to purchase a delicious venison burger and a nector like craft beer but did not have the capacity to try all the delights on offer that others enjoyed.
The weather was good the right result
