Went with group on bus for afternoon. Very nice place. Had a lovely tea with sandwiches, scones and little cakes. Unfortunately, sandwiches not suitable for me so staff very good enough to make me some I could eat. Was told if advised before hand they would have been ready on arrival. Saying that, did not take them long to bring to me. A lot of nice items for sale. If I had more money on me, there was a few items I would have bought, although everything was reasonably priced. Would certainly like to visit again (with more than £20 on me). Thank you to all staff who were friendly and helpful.

Well.....if you like fruit meringues this is your place. Cant say much about the rest of it except its expensive for what it is. Wouldnt suggest going here if you're on a tight budget.

This hidden gem was recommended to us and on visiting it far exceeded our expectations. Lots of very interesting things to see and certainly somewhere we will return to.

Visited for lunch, varied menu.
restaurant is part of a retail and antique building.
Adequate parking with easy access to all areas, restaurant is spacious and has a nice atmosphere, high ceiling prevents it being noisy.
Food is well presented and served quickly, staff friendly and helpful.
There are plenty of areas to explore and see.
If you like you can have Tea for two in a select restaurant for a fixed charge.r
