We stayed here while supporting a friend cycling the NC500. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our bedroom was clean but seemed like we had stepped into the 1930’s. There was no TV available which I always find handy to keep up with the news. The shower was over the bath, and I found it difficult to keep at a constant temperature. There was a step down to the bathroom.
The food is fantastic. I had the roast lamb which was the best dish I experienced during out 10 days in Scotland. The sticky toffee pudding was also sublime.
A breakfast of haddock and egg - was also excellent.More
