If you’re visiting the South of Puglia, the towns of Santa Maria di Leuca and Lecce, with maybe forays to the town of Galatina and to some of the local beaches, the “Palazzo Guglielmo Diffuso” is a wonderful place to be based at. You’ll be coming back from your day-trips to a warm and welcoming service, fresh and clean rooms, a wonderfully cool internal courtyard with orchard, and a refreshing pool in the garden.
This hotel is situated in a quiet town, where in the adjacent Piazza the men-folk sit in the evenings enjoying the breeze and the local gossip.
The food here is excellent, as is the service. Upstairs in the hotel there are antiques-furnished drawing rooms where one can enjoy (on the house) a selection of whiskeys or ‘digestivos’ and play old-fashioned vinyl records on a turntable. Very civilised!
We’ll certainly be back!

Super small boutique hotel in
very quiet south Italian village. Exactly as described on its website. Small but lovely pool, nice gardens, excellent breakfasts (thank you Christina) great free spa (thank you Sylvia) and all
round excellent service from Mauro, Francesco and Leonardo. All staff first class and Mauro sorted our transfers and gave us lift to the beach and sorted out my lost glasses. Highly recommended for peace and quiet. No music, only one tv, great! Only a couple of bars and one supermarket in tiny village. Real getaway from it all place.

Room tip: Edoardo was lovely with its own garden

We had 4 nights stay in this tranquil haven at the bottom of Italy. It is the perfect place to escape the pressures of everyday life. There are lots of nooks and crannies where you can get some time by yourself (with a book) if that is what you like. The breakfast was excellent with my husband enjoying the cakes which were left for guests to enjoy during the day. We ate at the adjoining restaurant every evening and had a different dish each night - all were excellent. Staff were very accommodating. Overall an excellent break.

we had a perfect stay in this comfortable hotel in a small non-touristic village not far from interesting places. this hotel gives indeed the feeling of a small palace with all sorts of luxury like swimming / jacuzzi/garden. the staff was very friendly and helpful. avery good breakfast and a nice typical food restaurant beneath.

Room tip: more choices available.
