How anyone can ever grade this 2star is beyond me I have stayed in many four star that do not compare . The athos is a greek hotel in a perfect location amazing pool and sun deck in the best spot in nydri rooms are basic but spotless and have any thing you would want in hotel room rooms are cleaned daily and linen etc is immaculate management and staff all work together and are brilliant I can’t think of anything more anyone would need on holiday (apart from shower curtain) I would recommend this hotel to anyone I can’t wait to go back again for about my 5th time

Room tip: We prefer the left hand side rooms

I think this a fine little place. The staff is friendly. The many restaurants is just a minut away.
The bar that belongs to the hotel, but is not in the hotel is very Nice. They have quiz on thursdays.

I would say a few things They could improve or would be Nice to know in avance.

Bring shampoo and body soap. Its not in the room.

Bring towel for sunchairs. They dont have towel for that in the hotel. Which i think They should have. At least for rent. And They would earn money at the same time.
The breakfast is simple. I wish for scramle egg.

Wonderful pool with a view of sub tropical trees and Tranquil Sound. The swallows drink the water in mid flight. But the air conditioned Pool Bar makes the best mojito ever and the beer in frozen glasses are always welcome. Staff always helpful.

Had a great stay in this hotel. It is very clean everywhere, the rooms are cleaned every day and the cleaner was so lovely, she even carried our cases for us. Lovely lady, needs a lot of praise for the work she did every day. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was free and good, with the food refreshed quite often up until closing time. The breakfast area was good you could sit inside or outside by the pool. There was no hot food, but plenty of bread for toast, cheese and ham, tomatoes, and olive, marmalade (which was really good, tasted home made) and jam, honey and chocolate spread, greek yoghurts, cake, fruit, boiled eggs, cereals. Coffee and tea. So plenty to choose from. There are two bars one by the restaurant area and the other near the front. The rooms have a balcony and air conditioning. The patio door opens onto the balcony, so you can have the door open if you dont like air con all the while, which we did to have some fresh air, there is a wardrobe with not many hangers but adequate cupboards to put your clothes. Bathroom with a shower tray and curtain, soap provided but no shampoo. No coffee making facilities, but you dont need this as you can have your fill at breakfast. There is a fridge, which was great for keeping the beer and water cool. They have a small parking area which is free. The pool is good and there are quite a few beds. No towels provided, so bring your own. It is so easy to walk along the harbour area to all the restaurants, they are right on your doorstep. Such a good choice of restaurants and bars, it was hard to decide where to eat. All the restaurants around the front have outside seating. There is a promenade to walk along and you can also walk out the front of the hotel onto the main street, where there are plenty of shops and more restaurants and bars. The supermarket is a few doors down and another just a few yards further. Everything is easily accessible, there is also a bus stop over the road, but didnt use it so not sure if it runs.

The Athos was immaculate and attention to the grounds and pool area was really worth noting. Breakfast was adequate but there are many eating places if you prefer to eat outside. The pool bar does lots of good food so if you want to wait for a brunch then eat then - its not expensive. Sheets and towels were regularly changed. The bed was a bit lumpy but i still got a good nights sleep and its was very quiet in and outside of the hotel. The hot water was a bit hit and miss but after leaving the taps running for about 10 mins, we could shower. The pool area is the best along the front and its huge. No problem with sunbeds and nobody seemed bothered to be putting towels down at 6am! Although a couple of Brits did do that - shame on you! This is only a 2* hotel but well worth the money and i would definitely return.
