I stayed here recently and had no complaints whatsoever. Good food, a comfortable room and pleasant staff - and with the added benefit of being in a tiny West of Ireland village that has changed little over the years.

Room tip: Clonbur is a quiet village so noise as such is never a problem.

We have stayed at Fairhill House several times and LOVE IT!!! The hotel is quaint, located in the West of Ireland in a little village called Clonbur. A nice full Irish breakfast is provided each morning at the hotel and if the weather permits, there are tables out front for drinks.

The Fairhill House is comfortable, clean and a great place to call home for a few days. There is a restaurant attached with amazing food and a fireplace that provides great ambiance. There is a pub across the street as well as around the corner, so you are spoiled for choice in such a small village.

There are two lochs nearby for the outdoorsman looking for nearby fishing or boating. Ashford Castle is just down the street and easy access to other villages in the West of Ireland for day trips. There are lots of walking trails in this area that connect to Cong/Ashford Castle as well as easy driving back roads.

You can't go wrong staying at Fairhill House!!
