“Where you will arrive on the paradise island”
Review of Jungut Batu Beach

Reviewed 28 June 2018

This is the main beach and you can walk the length of it in around 20 minutes, boat will deliver you here and your accommodation may pick you up or you will need to get a little van to deliver you somewhere. the vans/taxi are not as cheap as Bali so expect a minimum of $7.50 for a small trip but again its not out of control. Once settled use a scooter about $8 a day.

Sand is clean can be a little coarse in spots and broken coral washes up but its a very nice place to be

Take a fast Cat from Sanur and you'll be there in 1 & 1/2 hours for $50+.
Lots of choices to stay however staying in the corner of Jungut Bay gives you plenty of options. Lots of variable priced hotels dot the hillside, with plunge pools and amazing Vistas back to Bali and Mt Agung etc. The Prominade here around the shoreline offers lots of restaurants choice including easy pulling of bags to accommodation. Hire a cheap bike and see the beauty of this island in 1/2 a day without a car in site. Small island/No cars allowed. Cross the yellow bridge and see Chennigan island as well. Beautiful 4 days. 4 great trips over 34 years and still feels inoccent.

Beautiful landscape, best viewed from the Panorama point.
Local harbor hence you'll spot a lot of boats.

Nice Beach to chill out on with a beer. There is a lot of broken coral near the waters edge so if you have tender feet wear your reef shoes.you can get a boat out to the reefs from here to surf or snorkel.Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants.

This is a long stretch beginning from where the boats dock right upto the white sand beach. Wear reef shoes and try to take a walk at low tide to see some amazing marine life.
