“Delightful Dales”
Reviewed 8 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

awesome cottage with fantastic amenities, felt like you were miles from civilization but in fact only five mins from main road to lots of historic sights and leisure activities. Hosts were nearby if needed without being intrusive.

You couldn't ask for a more perfect getaway. Julie and Dean were lovely hosts we arrived to find a bottle of bubbly waiting for us which was a lovely touch, not forgetting to mention fab fresh eggs every day from their hens. The cottage was to die for every thing you needed was there the decor was beautiful, the hot tub was just the thing after a day sightseeing . We will defiantly be returning and would highly recommend this beautiful cottage

“Lovely cosy cottage for two, with all you could need and more”

Beckside cottage is perfect for cosy retreat for two. The cottage itself is beautiful, and has recently been refurbished to a high quality, with a wood burning fire, free standing bath tub in the bedroom and a rainfall shower that you will actually want to get out of bed for. There is also a hot tub set directly outside the cottage which is not over-looked and really made the weekend for us. The property is set in the owner's grounds, surrounded by beautiful countryside and some incredible views.
The owners are incredibly welcoming and gave us a tour of the property on arrival, even lighting the fire for us. They had already set up the hot tub which was ready for use at any point in the three days we spent at Beckside. We really appreciated the little extras included such as a huge torch to take out walking with us, robes and wood for the fire.

We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Beckside Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet break, but with good access to some of the most beautiful areas of Yorkshire.
