This shrine is at the basin of nachi water fall where I can see the water poiring down all its 133 meters height. After walking down from the bus stop, the power spot for praying is at front of the torii which the waterfall behind. It's easy yo walk down and up from the bus stop or parking area.

The waterfall is 133 metres height which is one of the top waterfall in Japan, by having giant waterfall, walking slowing and enjoy the nature are the most important things to do, and the view is spectacular. you can simply spend half day here and also but some souvenir. recommend you to prepare some sandwich or sushi and seat here enjoy your food with the view. this place takes about half an hour to stay, if with senior, better wear sneakers due to lots of stairs here and also better bring water with you to avoid thirty.

There was nothing interesting to me about the shrine itself, but the location it occupies and the surrounding attractions is what makes this a place you will probably visit.

A small shrine seen along the way to Nachi waterfall viewing platform where religious activities are held. It cost 300-yen to enter the shrine and waterfall viewing platform

This is a small shrine, if you just consider the structure itself. But as Shinto is most often about the space and nature in a spot, with the shrine denoting the place, the Hirou Shrine is really the area around it.

Which is stunning.

This is worth a walk and a look, as you'll get to see the falls as well.
