Popular lunch spot. Staff are attentive and friendly. Super clean, bright & pleasant atmosphere, sometimes quite crowded but there are seats outside on the verandah too. Excellent washroom facilities.
There is only one option for the gluten intolerant, and that is the "Gyu tororo donburi" - a pattie of meat and grated yam, grilled, sliced and served on rice with an onsen tamago (soft poached egg). This comes with a salad, soup, tea/coffee and a dainty serving of soft cream (ice cream). If you are celiac it would pay to double check.
As they are a beef farm, the menu is mainly beef, so vegetarians will need to ask.
They serve 'proper' tea, with fresh milk on request, or organic coffee.
