We enjoyed our stay at Little Roost. Rosemary the owner was friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with the accommodation - it was exactly as described. Lovely enjoyable walk from the cottage to Lyme Regis. Ideal getaway.

“Best Birthday weekend!!”

Me and my boyfriend decided to book a long weekend away for my birthday, and I found this little gem! I'm so glad I booked. When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Rosemary, she showed us around and introduced us to their cockerels and their chicks, this was quite an experience! It was sunny so we popped down to the beach, which was beautiful, everyone seemed really upbeat and friendly. We got back to have a glass of prosecco (thanks for this, and the rest of the treats!) on the roof terrace. Unfortunately the rest of the weekend was a bit wet but we still made the most of it. The shower is absolutely gorgeous, the bed was so comfy (some of the best night's sleep I've had!) and the roost is well equipped with DVDs, a stereo with Ipod dock, board games (we loved Trivial Pursuit!). Can't wait to come back in the summer! Thanks for a pleasant stay!

“Perfect for a weekend get away”

Little Roost was perfect for a sanity restoring weekend break, it had everything we needed; warm and cosy, well laid out and well stocked with the essentials. A welcome pack, including wine and flowers, were a lovely touch.

The cottage is in a good location for exploring the local area. Lyme Regis is easily accessible by foot, but you'll need walking boots (and if venturing out after dark a torch is essential).

Would recommend Amid Giants and Idols for coffee (made by a proper coffee aficionado) and The Town Mill Supper Club for dinner. Also Herbies on the front do cracking chips!
