The pousada is great. The room is not just a room, it is a apartment with kitchen, living-room, a bedroom and a bathroom. YOu have everything that you need, quality and cleaness for a real good price.
LOcation is perfect, just 2 minutes walking from the bus stop, the supermarket and other shops. 5 minutes walk to the beach.
Claudia, the owner, his child Samuel and her dog Paçuca, were so nice. I felt at home. She is giving you all the good advices to visit the island and to really enjoy it.
Do not hesitate to good, you won't disappointed!

A tranquile and perfectly kept place with great service and hospitality. Apartment is both functional, perfectly clean and cosy with nice garden outside. Situated in nice garden in quiet neighborhood but still close to what you need; food shop and bus stop around the corner. About 10 min walk to shops, restaurants and beach. The owner Claudia is Swiss and speaks fluent English and Portuguese, apart from fluent German of course. She is very nice and also very helpful with tips and information about anything from tourist-information to practical help with transport, telephones etc.

The property is in a quiet turning, but close to the bus stop and a good supermarket, a bit further to the beach. Claudia lives downstairs and is available if there is a problem or you need advice. It is clean with a nice garden and cool places to sit. We would happily return here.

The owner is very friendly & accommodating (low season late checkout). The rooms are very clean & spacious, the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The location is great, around the corner from the bus stop, 5min walk to beach & restaurants.

I had a great time in Florianopolis, and part of that was the Pousada dos Corais. The hotel is run with Swiss efficiency but is landscaped and decorated in such a way that you can enjoy the best Brazil has to offer. It's easy to park your car on the street or in the protected parking and then set out for expeditions around Florianopolis, that being said it's also close to the Barra de Lagoa beach with all that that has to offer.

The rooms were clean, modern, and the living room was large and very comfortable. I cooked several simple meals in the kitchen. Having a fridge and freezer is a huge plus. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the property. There are free bicycles and umbrellas available, which makes it nice and easy to go to the beach.

Breakfast every morning was a real treat. Brazilian pastries, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and fresh-made juices (eg. pineapple mint with mint from the hotel's garden!)

I will be back.
