Second time we've stayed at plover cottage and we shall return again.Beautiful clean modern and comfortable little cottage.
Great location near pubs restaurants -sea- walks -sits in a small village but for us has everything required for a break away.

“Perfect Weekend”

We spent a lovely weekend at Plover Cottage. Ideal location for several beaches and the New Forest as well as short walking distance to convenience stores, a couple of good, dog friendly pubs and a grest fish and chip shop. Very well appointed and scrupulously clean throughout with very comfortable beds with high quality bedding. Supply of tea, coffee, sugar, oil, cleaning items, shower gel, soap etc. supplied (or left by previous occupants, im not sure). Although the lounge is a little on the small side, it was perfectly adequate for 4 adults and a large dog!! Small courtyard garden with table and chairs with parking for 2 medium sized cars. What is also good is that there is a footpath right alongside the cottage that leads directly to Sturt Pond and the coast (10/15 minutes). Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Thank you so much, most of the extras are supplied by us but some people leave the odd bottle of oil! We make a point of buying local soaps for the bathroom which we hope you liked.

“Perfect pet friendly, cozy cottage”

Plover Cottage is in a perfect location for everything we wanted. The beach is on the doorstep along with the local shops and pubs. Lots of lovely walks for our dog and a dog friendly pub (The Smugglers Inn) that serves excellent food. Mr Pinks fish and chips (also in walking distance) was the best we've had!
The cottage itself is very well equipped, clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable, the shower is a good size and the kitchen had everything you could need. This cottage ticks every box! We will be returning!

“Lovely weekend stay ”

Returned for a second visit to this lovely cottage. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed a walk down to the sea. We also visited The Smugglers Inn and enjoyed a late lunch in their pub garden.

Enjoyed a game of monopoly one evening - the cottage has a few board games for your use. They also have some dvds and books should you not have bought your own book with you. Should there not be anything to your taste there are 2 local charity shops which offer good value books and dvds for sale.

There are also 2 local food shops in very short walking distance. There is also a local butcher so lots of choice should you wish to cook at the cottage. Kitchen is well stocked with accessories for cooking.

The cottage is tastefully decorated and we thoroughly enjoyed our second stay.
