Reviewed 24 August 2019

We enjoyed a six day stay at Pilgrim's Rest recently. It's well situated a shortish walk from the beach and from Milford's village centre with shops and restaurants, down a quiet side road. For a B and B it's very well equipped, with a range of different teas and complementary fizzy drinks in the room as well as freshly baked cakes each day. Bed was comfy and the bedroom surprisingly large with a decent sofa and large shower room. A highlight was the fresh fruit salad at breakfast which was the best we'd ever had in a hotel. We managed to get a booking in August at quite short notice when other places were full, which I guess is because you can't book on line and have to ring up.
In Milford we ate at Ray's Italian and the Smuggler's Inn which both did decent meals.
