We stayed for a 3 night break with 2 young Children. All details for arrival were well presented and on arrival lovely gifts to welcome us to the Mill. The kids spent hours exploring the beautiful gardens and stream near by. There are wonderful/Fun walks well suited for all.
The Mill itself is well equipped with everything needed. The main Town Denbigh is a short drive and there is a local supermarket and Pubs/resturants.
All in all a wonderful location, amazing service and Beautiful Cottage. We wil most certainly be staying again. Certainly a 5***** Family Short Stay.

Absolutely stunning little cottage with beautiful gardens. Owners couldn't do enough and friendly neighbor gave us a hand drawn map of an amazing walk to make the most of the beautiful countryside! Highly recommended for families and those looking for a peaceful retreat.

What a wonderful place to stay in Wales and such a warm welcome from the owners, Chris and Keith, when you arrive. They have worked so hard to make Segrwyd Mill such a comfortable place to relax in and the gardens are just so peaceful and a joy to sit in listening to the birds and the river, I am so glad that I found this hidden gem. We had some great family meals sitting in the garden and thoroughly enjoyed our few days break with family and didn't want to leave! There are also plenty of books to read or games to play in the evening and good walks in the area. My 92 year old father and 89 year old mother can't wait to go back and neither can I. Many thanks Chris and Keith and see you again soon.

Lovely cottage in rural surroundings 3 miles outside Denbigh.
With some nice thoughtful, welcoming touches from the owners, the Mill has been restored beautifully and has lots of character plus many homely touches - books, games, DVDs and a great garden for exploring. To be honest, there's not much to do in the immediate area, but it's a good base in the lovely surroundings of the foothills of the Hiraethog and not too far from Rhyl, Llandudno, Conwy, Betws etc. Would recommend this property to people of all ages who like the countryside and quiet surroundings. My wife & 5 and 2 year old daughters loved it and so we'll definitely be returning.
One last tip: if you go into Denbigh to eat, the Italian restaurant on the main road to Rhyl - Con Amici - is nice and really family-orientated. My kids made their own pizza and coloured-in to their hearts content whilst we ate some nice food in friendly, convivial surroundings.
