We had a caravan on this site for many years and have always loved Selsey. Tania has a lovely holiday home which is pretty central, Go right and you have a 2 minute walk to pebble beach, with welcoming dog friendly bar. There is a restaurant and arcade attached and these are not dog friendly. .water for the dogs everywhere. Go left to the fun fair and a smashing little cafe where we had a £4 breakfast each morning,( more water for the dogs). The caravan is very clean and comfy, very spacious with a lovely roomy veranda. The shower is nice and big, it has a seat, this was a great as we had our 86 year old mum with us. Be warned we think they are breeding rabbits on site (haha) they are everywhere. Our boxer spotted 2 babies out the end window and nearly broke the window trying to get to them, he did rip the net curtain, I also had an accident with a glass of coke in one of the 3 bedrooms. a quick phone call to Tania and we sorted it. Oh and the lighting in the sitting area was lovely, Thank you for letting us stay, will be intouch next year x Oh be warned the sea gulls kept dive bombing our boxer, scared the life out of him. Luxury holiday at bargain price x
Our caravan was very homley & clean had all the essentials and linen made up on arrival, although there was 3 adult women staying only 2/3 bedrooms had bed sheets on the beds so my daughter (27) has to sleep on the mattress with no sheet on ( not a massive issue ). The oven although it worked and we could cook food, the shelf’s in the oven were useless and tipped back when you placed anything on the shelf’s ( first time we used it our chips ended up in the bottom of the oven - Again not a massive issue as we worked around it but was slightly annoying ) and the only other issue we found was the shower after a few days kept going hot & cold whilst in it ( we checked that no taps where running or toilets left flushing but still kept going hot & cold ) other than those small issues the caravan was a lovely place to stay and we would use it again, the veranda was very helpful as we took our dog with us we was able to leave the back door open during the day when we was in and let her lay outside rather then a having to just take her out when needed as we have had to do on other caravan holidays that didn’t have a veranda so definitely a bonus if you have a pet.
The campsite was lovely and clean and secure, all staff very friendly & helpful. There is lots to do and the entertainment we did go to watch was very good ( power chix - little mix tribute ) there’s loads to do for kids with arcades, bowling alley and swimming pool and a wide variety of places to eat. Would definitely recommend for families and would definitely return. Buses frequently run through the campsite and into the local towns so you haven’t go to go too far to catch a bus. The only thing we didn’t like about the campsite was the new reception block being so far away from where you enter. When you have just arrived somewhere it’s a bit of a pain when you have to go exploring just to get checked in then exploring again to find your caravan.
Brilliant place to stay, has everything you possibly could want. And dog friendly so a massive bonus.
Entertainment brilliant, leisure brilliant. Lovely beach walks and reasonably priced food, restaurants, and shops etc. Five star rating. Thank you xxx
Absolutely lovely caravan. Comfy beds and a very homely feel. Beautiful Veranda. Everything you need. Great communications with the owner. Already thinking of our next stay!! Highly recommended.
Lovely, well looked after caravan. Everything you need is there. Beautiful decking and outside seating. Brilliant place to visit. The site itself has everything there to keep the children busy. Swimming pool was always warm and kids loved it. Arcade, play park, fun rides, beech &a loads more. Definatly the place to go. Will be visiting again very soon x
