Judgmental Staff

I went to the front desk to ask for an adapter. The receptionist ( Stine) told me that they have one but she won’t give it to me because “ a lot of costumers take the adapters with them and never bring them back.”

I asked how she knows that I would steal the adapter she didn’t explain. She just suspected that I would steal it.

The way she refused to give me the adopter and judged me without knowing me was irritating and ruined my day.

I asked for the manager’s email address she gave me a wrong email address and I wasn’t able to send my concern to the manager.

I am sorry to read you did not feel good service from our staff. I think there has been some language misunderstandings between you and the staff, and I am very sorry for that. Our goal are to make everyone feel welcome at our hotel.

We are empty for adapters, and I have ordered some new ones today.

Hotel under refurbishment

What a disappointment!!
When we booked a double room for 2 nights- no one told us the hotel was under a TOTAL refurbishment!!??
The Reception was just a desk- no seating area, nothing but debris & builders & drilling noise! Hardly a welcome to want to stay at this hotel at this time!! No bar!! Nowhere to get a snack for lunch, which was when we arrived?
The only place we could sit was our bedroom!
On the way up to our room, the lift had a notice “ not to drink the water, as contaminated”!
Then that night we couldn’t turn tv off? Then in morning couldn’t turn it on!!
We asked at Reception, batteries were changed in remote, but nothing. Engineer was called, but he said not working!
We had to change rooms!!
A disastrous visit!
The ‘Gantry’ yellow frame entrance looked ghastly!

I am very sorry to read about this, and I am sorry to read that our renovating of lobby and reception area affected your stay. We are not under total refurbishment, but I can understand it feels like that when the front desk is under refurbishment. We were doing our best to minimize the noise during this, and we will take this feedback with us further. I can inform you that the renovation of lobby and reception area was only for an short period and are done by 24.08.19.

Regarding the drinking water, this was a public warning from the government as it states on your picture. Unfortunately, nothing we could do anything about. This was a public warning, affecting nearly 40 thousand people in Bergen. As a solution to this, we offered all our guests free water bottles during check in.
Next time you visit Bergen, feel free to contact us. We will do our best to make up for this experience.

A fine hotel

After a 5hrs trip we were nicely greeted at the reception. The rooms were very nice, tidy, the bathroom was clean. Good breakfast. The restaurant has a lot of things to eat in its menu. Some repair work here and there and the pool lack the air conditioning. All in all a very good place to sleep.

Nice hotel with good facilities.

The room was clean and tidy. The meeting rooms worked well.
Large free paring lot.
Located close to a grocery store.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner tasted excellent.

Check-in and check-out went quickly and smoothly. The staff was service minded and nice.

Vacation

Very Nice place and the staff is very friendly and have an exellent service. It is located near by Metro and bus so IT does not take kong time to go to Centrum
Can recommend this strongly 👍
Not the first time here for me. Being here for Business earlier and Will not hesitate to Come back.
