In Pentai Cenang this is the most popular seafood restaurant and a bit touristy but that really doesn't matter as it's awesome.
It's kind of out in the open as in open air but with a high roof. It's a very casual place with basic tables and chairs. Service was ok but don't be bothered by slow service as it's all about the food.
They have lots of seafood on the menu with many types of fish on ice available but you can opt for the live fish, which you should definitely do.
A live Tiger Grouper was 13 ringgit (about £2.50) per 100g and the fish was around 600g (smallest size). Hence, for this live fish it was about £15! That's cheap for a live fish of that size. We had it grilled and it was cooked to perfection.
We also opted for a Rainbow Lobster which was 40 ringgit (about £7.60) and this was also around 600g (smallest size). Hence, this was about £45, which is very good for a lobster. It was fabulous and amongst the best lobster's i've had.
I would throughly recommend Orkid Ria. I note that some people have commented on the restaurant being expensive but it really depends on what you order. Our meal was about £75 but we did order live lobster and live fish. If we had ordered a seabass on ice it would've been a far cheaper meal.
If you don't want to pay for lobster then stick to a live fish and your meal will be much cheaper.
