Have stayed here multiple times in the past but now the upkeep of the rooms is really deteriorating. Basic hygiene standards are not being maintained. The property looks good only from outside but the rooms desperately need renovation. The first rooms we were allotted had cockroaches coming out of the kitchen sink tap - The same tap which they say has potable drinking water. They don’t provide mineral water bottles in the rooms even during a pandemic. The bathrooms were absolutely horrifying with dead insects. Foul odour when we checked in and even after it was cleaned. The taps and fittings are terribly old, rusted and barely work. The shower just gives a thin stream of water. Tiles are cracked and full of fungus. Exhaust fan doesn’t work. You cant spend even a few minutes without suffocating. Housekeeping staff is really nice and tried their best but all these things are beyond their control. One of our rooms didn’t have a working geyser and the ac stopped working multiple times. Bed linen and towels are stained and faded. Bedframes are also cracked and have sharp edges. Luckily we noticed and escaped an injury. Too many mosquitoes specially in the ground floor rooms. Only after we complained we were given a repellent liquid. The safe deposit locker is not fixed to the wardrobes. Anyone can take it out of the room. The only saving grace was the food - their Goan food is excellent.
The restaurant and housekeeping staff are helpful.

The managers tried their best to make up for all the issues but our 4 day stay was the most unpleasant and stressful. After complaining they shifted us to different rooms which were only slightly better. All this despite paying heavy maintenance fees to Club Mahindra every year.

The management needs to take this seriously, its a shame that one of their best properties has come down to such a level. Not at all worth a visit.
