My stay was on 19th -21stoct, undoubtedly the location of the property is appropriate, it is close by mall road, Dharamkot, Illiterati café, etc. I have a mixed experience for this place which is as below:

Day 1 (19th morning)- We reached the hotel early around 8.30 am, the front desk has told us to wait for half an hour, which we found okay and we quickly had our breakfast (INR 300 per person). The view from the hotel and from our room was nice.

The moment we entered the room we got disappointed, we stayed in the super deluxe room (4500 per room, per night), the basic amenities was missing the dental kit, the bathroom slippers, there was no ventilation in the small space washroom, Damp wall, but we somehow manage to stay in the room without any complaints. Also, please don’t expect that everybody in the hotel will guide you properly for Triund trek (some will say you can’t do it in the same day and vice versa). Honestly you people can do it easily, it’s a 3.5 hrs while climbing and while coming down just 2.30 mins. We informed the front desk in night that we need our breakfast by 6.30 or by 7.00 where the hotel management start serving the breakfast by 7.30 am which they think was not possible and twice or thrice told us ‘We Will Get Back To You’. Finally they called to our room and conveyed COLD breakfast and fruits can be served.

Day 2 (20th Morning)- We were at the restaurant and wanted to eat our breakfast, we saw in the restaurant 10-12 guests were sitting and having their meal. While taking the tour to the food section we saw the hotel chef have prepared Omelette (which is not a cold breakfast), we again did not said a single thing to the management and silently we ate and went for our trekking. Despite the fact we have paid for all these in our room tariff (what they called complementary breakfast but actually charging from us in our tariff). In the night we informed the front desk that we have a bus in the morning and would like to have our breakfast at 7am, please be prepared (unfortunately we did not bother to check his name).

Day 3 (21st Morning- our Check Out day)- We were outside the restaurant and checked if the breakfast is ready, the front desk sorry the breakfast timing starts at 7.30 am. We told him that we have conveyed for the early breakfast last night, he was asking about the name to whom we have said. We asked the front desk if any nearby dhaba is open, he was as usual not aware. We decided to go and search it our self and managed to find a dhaba in Dharamkot.

Pride Surya, its not just a matter of Breakfast, it’s a matter of the hospitality and your service to make your guest comfortable. If we have to run here and there for small things then what’s the point of booking a 3 star hotel where we were getting other options at reasonable price. Your hotel need maintenance, your staff need to be trained more. Glad we had spent our time outside the hotel otherwise I would have come across many other problems.

The first impression was actually quite good. The hotel has a huge lobby and great views for each room. However, the cost of other services including laundry and dining were overpriced. For example, they charged twice as much for the laundry compared to other hotels in the area. Moreover, the 300 Rupee chow mein noodles were actually quite normal where you could get 100 Rupee with much better taste on the street.
The WiFi always dropped. Water was warm and sometimes went cold in the middle of the shower. For whatever things you complain to the manager, the only answer you get is " We will give you a discount next time." Unfortunately, we won't even consider to stay here next time.

Room tip: Avoid the 4th floor. The 5th-floor restaurant will turn into the nightclub and you will hear the loud music.

We booked online through their official website for two nights but was told that we could only stay one night because the system problem. They even told us to call the customer service ourselves to cancel our booking. Unacceptable.

Even though the location is quite convenient and dinner was okay, we still think it’s not worth the amount we paid. WiFi was very unstable. Be aware that they cut off hot water around 9pm and will only resume the service if you complain.

The hotel property is probably the biggest in the area. Despite its good location and views. the services and amenities were horrible. We did not have hot water for two consecutive nights. The front desk was not professional. They asked us to pay when we were having breakfast before we check out so their system could work. The lamp was broken too. The Pride hotel group should take a closer look at the management.

Had stayed a night, and as such no complaints, but they could spruce up their breakfast spread as well as the rooms can be made a little more livable, and improvise the room service bit. 3.5 on 5. esp as location wise this is the most central good hotel
