This is one of the most beautiful temples built in the 9th century AD . There is a very beautiful deity of lord Vishnu in meditation in the central temple . Simply superb ! The other temple on the right has the deity of Vasudeva , Lord Krishna's father . Situated on the way to Badrinath , it's situated in a small village with stairs going down the main road . During winters , the worship of Lord Badrinath takes place here . This is one of the must visit place ,despite strenuous trek up and down . Very peaceful place and of historical importance

Recently visited the temple on our way back to Rishikesh from Bardinath dham. Its actually a group of ancient temples of Lord Vishnu in Padmasana posture. Must visited place. The temple is located just at the left bank of the Alakananda river . One has to descend all the way from the road to the temple through stone steps. Its a steep descend . So aged peoples will find difficulty to climb up all the way back to the road .

Located off pandukeshwar en route to badrinath, the yogadhyan Badri temple complex houses two main temples : the yogadhyana Badrinath ji and vasudev temple.

It's a peaceful location for meditating and reflection. It requires a bit of walk (10 mins from the main road ) : descent and when coming back, ascent to get to the temples.
