Having booked the lodges for a cheap(ish) weekend away in the Highlands, I wasn't expecting the standard of cleanliness/facilities that was provided. Owner is really down to earth and easy going - easy to arrange picking up keys. The lodge was great with a good sized shower crammed into the small space (something I wasn't expecting!). There was also tea, coffee, mugs and a kettle. The electric heater is also a fantastic addition. We paid extra for towels and sleeping bags which were all waiting on the bed for our arrival - clean and fresh. The Village Shop also provided the daily essentials. The breakfast rolls on offer, freshly cooked in the kitchen were great too!
If you are staying for a while, I would recommend buying a book of tickets for the Corran Ferry. At £69.50, it means tickets work out to £2.30 instead of the £7.90 for a single
Would highly recommend to anyone interested in walking in the Highlands with Glencoe, Fort William, Kinlochleven etc only a short drive away. Thanks Izzy & John.
We stayed in the Clovullin croft pods for 2 nights and couldn't fault it in the slightest. The pods were clean with all the necessities provided. Set in a beautiful location just a few minutes ferrycrossing from Fort William to the stunning rural surroundings of Ardgour.
The owners of the pods couldn't be more welcoming or helpful, and will make you feel more than welcome. The location of the pods, right beside the local shop, is perfect for all the items you may need. Just a short walkable distance down the road you can find the local pub which serves food if you dont want to travel far for a meal.
I would fully recommend these pods to anyone and everyone, the whole experience and the surroundings make it the perfect short retreat in an incrediblely pretty part of Scotland. With plenty to see and do (including close accessibility to the ferry to mull) it ticks all right boxes and provides a great alternative to braving the Scottish weather for camping.

Had a lovely couple of days at the pods. Very clean, friendly. Wonderful views. Highly recommended. Ideal for a stop over.
Very friendly and helpful owners, peaceful location, good value for money! The pods are brand new, clean and dry.
We found this accidently when desperately looking for sth when the weather changed and our plans of camping became unrealistic. It turned out the location was great to discover both Mull and Glencoe.
