This restaurant came as a very pleasant surprise, after a long day of client work in the local area and simply asking Google what local eateries were open at 8pm on a Sunday night. The waiters were extremely friendly, spoke fluent English, and helpfully translated the entire menu for me (although I was already convinced I wanted a steak with chips a soon as I walked through the door!).
Said ribeye steak with thin French-style chips was available with a choice of sauces, and I went for the Roquefort one, which was absolutely delicious. Lots of extra side dishes arrived as well, included in the very reasonable price of 25 Euros, including a soft drink. There was a cold pasta mini-salad, roasted vegetables, and warm bread rolls with two choices of butter. I left very satisfied and completely full!
Note that there is outside and inside seating, and at sunset, the outside seating is above a sort of water moat, and there are mosquitoes around. I chose an inside table for this reason, from where I could enjoy a mosquito-free but absolutely stunning sunset over the village church.
