I found the experience of booking our holiday accommodation through trip adviser satisfactory. The location of the property was close to the airport and had access to public transport but as a holiday location, it was not accessible to restaurants or shops except for one supermarket.
We arrived at the airport and as agreed, we contacted the owner to access keys to the property but were informed that the house was not ready and needed to be cleaned. The sleeping provision was not as advertised and required attention. The property enclosure was not secured and was only repaired towards end of the week. Mattresses were grubby and bed linen had to be requested. A mix-match of sheets was then offered. The house lacked air conditioning in temperatures up to 40 degrees and we were plagued with mosquitoes at night.
The owner was polite and did respond to our requests, however, we felt that the provision was less than minimum standard.
