Very easily booked, pack we received was very helpful with directions from the airport, & what to do around the area.
I travelled with my wife and my Mum & Dad, who are in their 70's. Was a surprise holiday for their 50th wedding anniversary.
Upon arriving, the area was a golf resort a few miles outside town, the resort looked stunning from a distance, however; upon entering the resort, it was quickly apparent that there had been massive plans to build restaurants, bars etc in a bustling golf resort, but that had quickly halted, I assume, due to little or no interest. There are quite a few villas built & inhabited/rented, however there is MASSES of empty plots all over the place, several blocks of flats that are quite run down, & a massive clubhouse / restaurant which has weeds growing out of every crevice, and looks as if it was built but has never been used. Even the villa next door to us, looked as though it had been vacant for several years.
Small problem on arrival, in that the kitchen had not been cleaned very well.....Paul offered to send the cleaners back, but the girls took over & got it sorted in jig time, whilst us guys brought in the shopping, unpacked, and poured the drinks.
That said, our villa was beautiful, over 2 levels, with private pool in very secluded gardens.
The views from the villa balconies are fantastic, and the whole experience was very relaxing.
Only thing within walking distance is a small pub at the end of our road. Everything else though, is a short taxi ride, which is reasonably cheap as well.
We had a terrific week at this villa, and the only thing stopping us returning is its location, and surroundings.
This would be perfect for families or groups who would want to golf several times during the week, as the golf course looked spectacular.....and very empty.
Majority of necessities provided... All kitchen utensils, bath & pool towels. There are plenty of sun loungers, chairs and tables. We cooked on the bbq a few times, and went to the golf bar most days. The 3 men played golf once which was €27 per player including bag hire, balls and buggy for 9 holes. The girls went to Sanlucar centre shopping! We visited the Donana Reserve which was poor, but enjoyed eating out during the days. The villa is ideally located for a relaxing holiday to escape the hustle and bustle of home! The views are rolling hills and the golf course. It feels very safe in the area. A car is definitely required, we used ours most days, and the villa was easy to find once we had settled in. Although we needed our sat Nav for airport runs and to navigate the towns!
We had a couple of problems with the upstairs shower temperature fluctuating, and the kitchen window not locking, which Paul sorted for us quickly. All staff we have encountered through booking, and on holiday have been extremely professional, friendly and helpful.
We would recommend this villa, and have discussed coming back again with family.
