The hostal is on top of the busiest bar in town. We were told it would close at around 22 hours when in fact it did so at 2330 hours and the customers who stay in the narrow street opposite the hostal did not go away until midnight. Our room was on top of the entrance door which hit the wooden building every time somebody went in or out of the bar. Overnight we woke up every time somebody went to the loo or moved around the premises. Also every time we moved at all, since the old bed made a tremendous noise. Then at 6 the first person decided to leave and woke us all up. We could hear all in detail: from the steps to the shower and the all the rest up to going down the stairs carrying a suitcase.
All the floors are wooden, including those of the bathroom which is not terribly hygienic.
Attention by everyone was very good but it doesn't make up for a night of bad and little sleep, particularly when you head for the countryside looking forward to some rest in the quietness. The wifi did not work.
Do not go if you need to get your sleep.More
