Went many times when my children where younger, the railway was great and free, always left a donation in the box, you need to check the days it runs. As a park it is well keeper with all the us all things on it. Good parking plenty of space, walks etc. Good place when fine ,

Marvellous open spaces on the edge of Leyland. Narrow gauge railway maintained by enthusiasts. Nice walks several weirs on a stream. Free parking. Lovely tea room and a kitchen garden.

This is a fantastic park, albeit a little hidden if not local, and one we visit regularly. Free to enter. Long walks if desired and lovely flowers, shrubs and wildlife. Dogs welcome. A must visit if you are ever in the area.

If it's sunny, get yourself to Worden Park! Our kids loved it (2&6), the miniature railways are fantastic and the kids loved them. Donation is expected but is well deserved. There is a 'old' crazy golf which is expensive for what you get.

Big play area toward the back of the park with separate small child's area. Lovely views and plenty of open space. Easily could spend 5/6 hours here. Great for a picnic. Free Parking at nearby Tesco.
