Marvellous open spaces on the edge of Leyland. Narrow gauge railway maintained by enthusiasts. Nice walks several weirs on a stream. Free parking. Lovely tea room and a kitchen garden.

This is a fantastic park, albeit a little hidden if not local, and one we visit regularly. Free to enter. Long walks if desired and lovely flowers, shrubs and wildlife. Dogs welcome. A must visit if you are ever in the area.

If it's sunny, get yourself to Worden Park! Our kids loved it (2&6), the miniature railways are fantastic and the kids loved them. Donation is expected but is well deserved. There is a 'old' crazy golf which is expensive for what you get.

Big play area toward the back of the park with separate small child's area. Lovely views and plenty of open space. Easily could spend 5/6 hours here. Great for a picnic. Free Parking at nearby Tesco.

What a lovely park, right on our doorstep. Loads of wide open spaces with loads of activities to do. Just a fantastic place to spend the day.

Fantastic local park with plenty to keep kids and adults entertained, the trains are fantastic, been to parks that have mini railway rides but only usually 1, this has many trains and different tracks which is brilliant!
The kids play area is huge with lots of choice for different ages, from a sand area to a small kids area, a wooden area to a large area with metal frames for older kids, would be absolutely ideal if there was a cafe over that side of the park rather than just an ice cream van, plenty of space to have a picnic, play or run around with the kids, mini/crazy golf, gardens and outdoor ‘maze’ is fun, haven’t visited the little coffee shop yet as it looks small and busy from the outside when we visited but might try it next time, there is also a snack hut that sells burgers, chips, hot dogs, ice-cream, drinks, etc and an ice-cream van also, parking is free and only ever been a problem once for us when there was an event on and there was nowhere to park at all so we gave up and went home but generally I’ve managed to always get a space.
