the barn is excellent, very tastefully renovated and comfortable. it is located in a very friendly village with a great pub and within walking distance of Yat rock. the owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. myself wife and Labrador dog had a great week there. we will definitely visit again.

“Lovely Stay”
Reviewed 8 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

I was lucky enough to stay at this cottage for a weekend, it was a lovely stay and the owner was very welcoming, sharing local information and telling me about walks nearby.

The cottage was warm and cosy just the right size for a couple, the kitchen and bathroom are both modern and well looked after, the bedroom had beautiful views and a comfortable bed. The lounge was purfect for curling up with a book also looking out across the valley.

I had a truly lovely stay and would definitely recommend Arles Barn.

“It does'nt need to take a sentence.......Just one word.....Perfection.”

'It does exactly what it say's on the tin'....There is no more that I can say about the property that is'nt truthfully portrayed in the owners explanation of this accommodation (except, maybe, the minor inconvenience that the patio lights switch seemed to be operated by a switch in the boiler cupboard instead of by the door or on a PIR) Pat and I spent a wonderful week there with Abbie the Ancient Yellow Labbie. On arrival we were welcomed by the very attentive and friendly Graham who is justifiably very proud of his achievement in converting the barn to this high very standard. His knowledge of the surrounding area and features ought to qualify him for an award with The English Tourist Board!! and he was always readily available for anything such as the loan of local maps etc.. But at the same time he was never 'in your face' (a pretty rare and very welcome quality).Thank you Graham, We must return. Roy.

“Great accomidation in lovely spot”

We had a great 5 night stay with our dog. Despite the weather we were lovely and warm with the underfloor heating!
The owners were lovely and full of good advice about all the attractions, walking nearby and even brought over an old blanket for our dog.
very reasonably priced and highly recommend

Very warm and cosy barn conversion. Very close to symonds yat and other areas of interest. The barn is kitted out with everything u need and more. Graham the owner is very friendly and helpful, with great knowledge of the area. He lent us a map and let us keep a book from the cottage library which was extremely kind! The wye valley is stunning, defo recommend coming here.
