While staying at the Casa Mathilda in town, we decided to try La Bobila restaurant. We'e so very happy that we did. The menu, while it varies, is basically what I'd call Asian fusion. There are also several typical meat dishes on the menu, too, but it's the Asian fusion that is so very terrific! We absolutely felt that this was a 5-Star restaurant. Service is good, you aren't rushed, and the desserts, especially the Lemon Meringue Pie, is exquisite! So thankful we found this place while visiting Corca!

Nice rstaurant in a good ambiance, catalan cuisine and a mix of japenese menus, a large choice on the card and a near antic shop makes the atmosphere very interesting.

I have just tasted the best sushi that I have ever had. The service was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is charming and set on a hillside so you have the impression of dining in a tree house. I also liked the fact that desserts came as a choice of small or large. It is situated in a huge old brick makers, hence the name, and some of the old kilns have been turned into private dining rooms. Within the building is a large antique shop.. very tempting with many unusual objects.

We had a few of the Japanese (supposedly) dishes to share and there was something wrong with each one. The Gyoza had undercooked dough with too much pasta and not enough filling - there was no difference between the prawn, pork and chicken flavours. The sauce they came with was congealed. The "sushi" rice was watery and tasteless, neither the salmon or tuna could be identified by flavour - at best, bland! The wasabi was fluorescent....in colour. Edamame (spicy) was good. The place is eclectic and striking, and could be a nice place to eat out but definitely don't go expecting flavour or know how.....when it comes to the 'Asian' menu. There were also European/Spanish items.
