We just dropped into this restaurant after walking past and it looked pleasant.
While the menu was not huge, and there are no starters, I had the Kingklip, my daughter the ribs and my wife the fish cakes.
All were tasty and the meal was good value.

The worst service I’ve experienced at a restaurant in a long time. Very slow. We had 3 different people serving us, all of which who had no idea what was going on. Tables around us who arrived 15+ after us got their food and drinks before us. Our order came wrong. If it was busy I would have been more understanding, but we were one of a few tables.

However, the food was good (once they got it right)

Where do I begin? A friend of mine went there 2 weeks ago and when they were paying the bill the waiter says the payment was declined but on their end their banking app showed the transaction had been successful. The waiter and manager then threatened them and said if they didn’t pay they’d have to sleep at the restaurant over the weekend. Very Professional!

They ended withdrawing the bill amount in cash and paid it at this but that meant they’d paid twice for the bill. Technology is faulty so that’s not the issue. The issue is for the past 2 weeks my friend has been calling them almost daily to cooperate and refund them their bill because the error wasn’t done by them. The management instead lies, makes false promises and to date we haven’t seen a cent. Clearly they are in the business of being dishonest and running a scam and not actually running a restaurant.

I had the oxtail which was very good. The portions are a good size and waiters helpful. Large menu and my waiter, Lenny, made sure I knew of the specials too. Nice dinner for a reasonable price.

I’ve only been here 3 times and first 2 excellent! Today was disappointing as ordered food for breakfast but arrived not only cold but not cooked properly. Waitress, who was excellent, offered alternatives but after I’ve returned food I tend to lose appetite. So declined offer! However, I was stunned they charged me as someone who uses their sister’s restaurants frequently ! In their defence they have since contacted me and offered free meal although later in the day their sister restaurant let me down also! I’m hoping one offs ! Staff are excellent !
