This is a modern museum, we had a lot of fun interacting with some of the exhibits, we were through within 1/2 hour, and admired the view form the observation deck

Love, love, loved this art museum! Amazing exhibits that my children couldn’t get enough of. Fairly quick visit that definitely won’t take more than 2 hours.

My wife and I went here and spent a good couple hours in the main art exhibit, which was its last day. Excellent installation and the museum has a great space. Also there is a 360ish degree view of Tokyo from the museum. Definitely worth the visit. It seems to get more crowded in the evening when the city lights start to turn on.

Highly recommended if you are visiting Tokyo. It’s an easy to navigate museum with great gift shops and cafe. As well as an incredible view of the city at the sky deck (extra charge). Located high atop an indoor mall, it is a truly Japanese experience and a highlight of our trip to this world class city.

It has only rotating exhibitions, no permanent collection. Consequently, whether it is worth visiting depends on whether the current exhibition is of interest. Ticket price includes Tokyo City View in the same building.
