We really enjoyed it here, there was loads to do for the kids (aged 7, 6 and 10 months). A lot of the things are outside though so it might not be too good if it was raining (when we went it was sunny). The kids really enjoyed the indoor play area and the little go carts and also the outdoor play area. There are some big go carts at the bottom, i think these are supposed to be for over fives (the small ones, I mentioned above, for the under fives)...but the problem was they were so difficult to pedal. All in all a good day and would go again.

We had a lovely day out with the kids and the grandparents. Unfortuantly it was raining but that didnt matter as there was plenty to do inside. We stopped for lunch and the home cooking was excellent, cant wait to visit again.

real choice of farms in area, choose this one as it had a separate toddler area and was indoors.

Wow , boy (18mths) loved the tractor roundhouse ( peddle tractors of all sizes). Loved the indoor animals - goats, rabbits, ferrets etc. Stayed in the indoor toddler(under 2) fro 5 minutes before crawling over to the undedr 5 and older kids areas. he loved all the indoor soft play stuff and the slides.

The barrel ride ( extra £1.50) was great.

I loved the sheep race and won.

Dispite the cold weather, plenty to do in and when not so windy outside. the huge sand pit was a big favourite of son with diggers and tractor climbing frame things.

Farm was small enough not to have to use buggy, but most area hard surface except for actual outdoor farm area - just let him walk /crawl

overall - a great day. great food and if your son loves tractors beware of the shop - loads of them

I found this place really overpriced. Don't understand why adult have to pay nearly £7 for entry, where you just sit and supervise your child, also they charge 18 month old child same £7, she uses less then half of attractions there. We live in Leeds and there is many playgyms around, even with animals and much cheaper. Would not recommend for toddler. I was really dissapointed. Also have to mention, about food, chips that came with main were really unfresh and oily. Landed straight in a bin. We visited Walby farm, just recently in September during our travel around Cumbria, and sadly amongst all attractions, this comes last.

Good day out, Food portions were good and excellent value for money. We enjoyed the animals however would have liked to have seen more and more petting animals for the younger children. My husband and I went with our 4 week old baby and the facilities were good,(Changing room) and our 11 year old son although he seemed to enjoy it, we did feel he was too old to fully enjoy the play areas. The brochure showed lots of things, however they were coming soon or not available. I would recommend Walby farm for younger children and ensure you are not going just for the animals as there are not as many as you would expect
