We booked a table for 6 to celebrate my mum's birthday. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne. We all then decided to opt for fish and started our meal with a 'degustazione' tasting of 2 starters: octopus in a tomato sauce with capers and prawns in a cornflakes batter and caramelised apples, they were both excellent. The prawns starter was my favourite. We continued our meal with 'fregola with vongole' (fregola pasta with clams), this is a typical Sardinian dish and I strongly recommend it as it's a genuine, very tasty pasta dish that truly represents Sardinian cuisine and cucina povera at its best! We then ordered the gratiné king prawns that were excellent.
I didn't order dessert but the other guests pointed out that they were a 3 out of 5. I tasted one of the Seadas (a typical Sardinian dessert) and It was truly lovely. Thanks for the beautiful evening!
