Very welcoming host, wealth of information, kind patient. Such interesting decor seems to be true to period. Very pleasing to eye.
Cute courtyard living room interesting windows. Definitely recommend. Rafters dating back to 15 th century and 19th century old army tower and house

We stayed one night while walking the Camino Norte, booked through Macs Adventures.
We loved this charming and quaint hotel, the room was lovely retaining the original features, the sitting room was great to relax in and it had a great patio to sit out.
The staff were very helpful and suggested a nice restaurant to eat about ten minutes walk away. Breakfast was a lovely buffet.
The only minor downside for walkers is that on Sundays breakfast is not served until 9.00 am, leaving it late to start walking on a warm day.

Had the pleasure of resting my head in a little history, for this Posada has been looking after guests and in particular pilgrims for centuries.
My abode for the evening was in the 15th century original tower, heavy with beams and stone walls. A small balcony overlooked the large wooden entrance and gardens with mountain views in the distance.
The sleep factor was superb, in fact I cannot remember having such a good sleep for a long time, all caused and attributed apparently (according to the wonderful friendly owner) by the level of the sea and air pressure. Either way it certainly worked for me.
The Posada was a former home and is full of homely and interesting artefacts whilst
the receptionist was delightfully helpful and friendly adding to the charms.
This is a very nice spot to rest and my only regret was not enjoying for more than one night.
I would certainly recommend this hideaway retreat and hopefully return one day to enjoy the peace and its location.

This posada is a very nice place i the village of Liendo. Located in the center of the village, but still quiet and beautiful and quite stylish. Nice room and bathroom. Breakfast was reaĺly good. They do not serve dinner but there is a quite good restaurant in the village.

Staff extremely helpful. Clean and good standard of fixtures and fittings. Breakfast good and well priced. I would certainly stay there again. Nice garden and surroundings. The village is quiet even though access from main road is relatively easy.
