This very well maintained place has a beautiful garden and terrasse with great view, perfect for relaxing after a long day of traveling.
The moment we walked in, we instantly wished we had booked for more than just one night.
There has been put major effort into giving this lodge a historical touch with lots of authentic furniture and decoration.
Also the hosts were particularly friendly and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived.
A very special experience that we highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night on a road trip across South Africa, and wish we had stayed longer. The place was very nice, charming, and the staff was extremely helpful with advise about things to see in the area and places to eat. We are defiantly coming back to this place next time we are in SA!

Graham was so helpful, taking time to settle our motley crew (ranging from 3 to 73!) into our rooms and passing on a wealth of local and historical knowledge. Our dietary needs were very well attended too and the real highlight was how welcome our young children were, splashing in the pool and watching the storms in the distance on the fab deck.
I recommend the lovely evening meal and use of Liz Spiret a local guide.

We upgraded to a new suite which was brilliant. Very modern with lovely views. It was like staying in a very contemporary apartment. well worth the money. Breakfast was good and fresh. Staff very helpful. Booked us a car to go eat out.
good place to stay.

Room tip: Get an upgraded room. One of the two suites.

We stayed three nights at Buller's and it was delightful to spend time there with Graham and Shey he helped us so much with our itinerary and saved me a huge amount of time and money by suggesting an alternative route around the battlefields area. The breakfasts were very good and the location was very quiet,,clean and safe.
