We had the large room at the front which was perfect and very comfortable.
Breakfast is an experience not to be missed and if you can have an evening meal - DO.
Arnold is a superb chef and he and Annelize make every meal a special occasion.
My friends had stayed there in 2013 and highly recommended it and I am so glad they did.

Room Tip: Room called Ooh la La!

The guesthouse is beautifully decorated with lots of art. Our room had a king size bed and was also beautifully decorated, serviced every day. It is very peaceful and perfect for a good night sleep. We could not have diner at the guesthouse since they just returned home from a well deserved holiday the same day. This means we have to go back another time because Arnold is an amazing chef! We enjoyed his 3 course breakfast sitting at a large table with the other guests. I went for a lovely walk at the beach before breakfast. One night is not enough to relax though!

Words failed us! Everything and more! Well deserved excellent ratings. The most wonderful hosts and private dining by Arnold is a MUST, probably the best meal we've ever had, the preparation and casual chat was all part of the experience. A real pleasure and many thanks, definitely returning. Many many thanks Miles & Jan x

Had three delightful nights here staying in the very pretty Aha room which is downstairs with irs own little patio. Arnold and Annelize are perfect hosts looking after your every need. As others say the breakfasts are amazing and I loved the French toasts with ice cream every morning. On Sunday we enjoyed one of Arnold's "long tables". A true gastronomic experience.
Food apart everything else here is done with detail. The rooms are spotless, tea, coffee and fresh milk are topped up in the room twice a day. Mineral water is provided and rain bathroom toiletries used. Bedlinen is crisp thick cotton, towels fluffy and White and beach towels and bag provided. Everything you might need is though of including spare Sunday's and sun glasss. Excellent free wifi too
Paternoster is a very pretty laid back place and Ah in a great location to explore the beaches and shops in the vullage. Nice choice of restaurants for when Arnold doesn't cook. Perfect for a few days R&R and we would love to return.

In one word: PERFECT! Lovely decorated & furnished rooms (I recommend aaah-room, a king/twin upstairs with facing the terrace and the ocean), wonderful house and hosts and a really charming village with some cute shops and restaurants. Incredibly yummy breakfast (handmade icecream for dessert) and: if you have the opportunity to join an evening when Arnold is cooking for his guests- take it! It's simply delicious and great fun! Thanks a lot, I definitely want to come back :)
