Description: The Black Bull is a historic Chef & Brewer pub in the heart of Corbridge. Only a stone's throw from the River Tyne just over 15 miles from the centre of Newcastle, our countryside pub's surrounded by beautiful Northumberland countryside. Stepping inside a building that dates back to 1755, you'll be warmed by the glow of open coal fires during the winter. When it's warmer, head outside to our beer garden to sip one of our refreshing cask ales. Our food menu caters for all tastes and includes a pub Sunday roast, as well as a range of breakfasts on our brunch menu. With free WiFi, disabled facilities and coach parking, we look forward to your visit at our family-friendly pub.

Beer Garden tables are all dirty - haven't seen anyone from staff come to wipe down.
Also, no sign of the decking being swept with leaves and tab butts everywhere.

Really lovely, cosy pub which has such a relaxed atmosphere. The pub is really family friendly and we also noticed a few people eating alone very comfortably.
Service was speedy, friendly and welcoming.
Food was what you would expect from a chain pub, perfectly fine and good portion sizes. The pie was very good, the bbq chicken was not quite as good but the kids’ meals were great and really good value.
We would definitely return if we were in the area.

Had Sunday lunch worst meal we have ever had in this pub. The meal was tasteless due to tough meat dried out vegetables that looked like they had been stood under a heat lamp for far too long. The Yorkshire puddings where also dried out and seemed to have been defrosted from a freezer warmed through and where also extremely dried out.Dessert was ok as was the service but for the price very poor value for money. Sorry to say but we were very disappointed it just seems to have gone down hill recently in the kitchen department. On the positive side the hand pull beer was very good.

Mark G, we work hard to provide a fantastic experience to everyone. So it's really disappointing to see that we clearly missed the mark this time. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will use your comments to refine our efforts to ensure this issue does not happen again.
