My husband and I are pretty active when we are on vacation, so I was a bit concerned about what to do in three days in such a remote place, but.... it ended up being a perfect getaway. As soon as we stepped in we felt right at home, warmly welcomed with a delicious hot tea while we checked in. Our host, Mr. Honecker, showed us around the property and gave us some great recommendations for hiking, which was very enjoyable even in winter.
We had all our dinners in the main restaurant, and all were excellent. Wine pairing were among the best we ever had. On our last night, the chef -Ms. Teubler- prepared a special menu for us so that we didn't have to repeat any dishes.
In summary, an unforgettable experience. We'll definitely be back soon.More
