Hi Travellers!

I stayed at this lovely little hotel which has a really good restaurant and outside spaces to enjoy the nice weather!

This hotel is lovely and clean and well appointed. I stayed in room 303 which was great as you can just walk out your room and straight onto the hotel courtyard.

The rooms are a good size and the bathroom is nice with really all you need.

The room has a television with multiple language channels on.

I think the restaurant and the staff make the hotel as they are all so helpful and pleasant - loved Sabina in the restaurant a lovely woman with a very pleasant demeanour.

The food in this hotel is to a great standard so do not miss a chance to eat here as you will find all the local people come here - they do that for a good reason - great Bavarian food.

The hotel has the capability to provide for major events with some well appointed function rooms.

The hotel is well located close to Munich and also the major road connections to Stuttgart and other key towns so for me is a good location.

This is a hotel I would use for both business and pleasure and as I indicated in the title a peaceful and just so quiet place you can get some rest.

Enjoy!

Bill

Room tip: Get a ground floor room onto the courtyard as they are so convenient!

As we left the car to go to the reception to check in, our small dog was attacked by a huge aggressive dog who bit ours and only retreated because we all freaked out on it in shock. A girl from the reception came out and dragged away with it. When she returned and we asked her about the incident she told us it was one of the guests dog...suddenly a guy showed up with the dog and took into the back of his car, where two other dogs were placed...i wanted to approach him but he quickly got into his car and drove away, i wanted to write down his license plate but then the girl in the reception told me, that it was the owner....we were, a little bit shocked by this :) Nothing major happened to our dog but wow, not even an apology. In fact, people got annoyed on us and an old woman who apparently was the cook gave us the "evil eye" whenever she saw us :) Maybe thats why the food was so horrible, worst meal in a long time. So, don't bring your dog here, and one more thing, don't go there when it's hot either. It was 29°C and with no aircondition, impossible to sleep. Maybe we just visited their hotel on a bad day but man what a waste of money.

We stayed in this place on a recent trip to the Munich area. This trip we wanted to see Dachau as well as the city, and this was a good choice. The town of Bergkirchen is well situated off the A8, and not far from the town of Dachau.
The hotel was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was typical German. They own restaurant which was very good. It seemed like a lot of the locals ate there.
