This beautiful hotel was filled with Sunday lunchers .
We were told there was no table in the main restaurant and would have to look in the front bar.
Found a large table for the three of us and shared this with other friendly diners. Lovely near the fire!
Ordered the Beouf from the french inspired menu. Cooked MR delicious! Pot of bearnaise gluggy and not well seasoned. A plate of seasonal veggies as a side dish- over cooked slightly grey looking and remained mostly uneaten. Friend 1 had the Thon- small potion on a sea of baby lettuce ‘OK’.Friend 2 the Gnocchi-‘not bad’
Drinks. House red easy and light. Lemon lime and bitters just right!
