Description: We are situated in the centre of the old village and have been here for many years. Our building is built entirely out of stone and wood which helps in setting an atmosphere of warmth and good taste. You may prefer to have your meal in our yard which is encircled by much green foliage and many colorful flowers. Our visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional Greek dishes cooked in the wood oven. It is worth noting that some recipes are cooked and served in earthenware. The recipes in pottery is cooked over low heat and braise for some time in the oven, achieving the best result in taste. Using the wood oven for baking traditional recipes inclusion and baking pizza. The wood oven has the ability to literally transform the pizza making crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. This is because the temperature in the oven reaches 450 degrees Celsius.

Very nice place, with excellent food and kind people.
When you try it, you will definately come again.
Best place we went for dinner on our trip.
Prices are low to medium, and portions are large.
Would definately recommend this place to anyone visiting the chania area.

Thank Mikkel H

We found this traditional taverna early into our holiday and was certainly not disappointed with the food and service. A lovely setting in the square so much better than on the main road. Well worth a visit.

Traditional cuisine and todays specialities. You can even choose your favourite fish and they cook it for you. For gluteen free pizzas I give 10 points. They serve also gluteen free pastas.
