Had a stay here for 3 nights. Over all the resort is an ok get away place for a more private and quiet environment.

Our Zen room is ok... just that the fixtures are outdated. We had a problem with our watercloset flush.

Just an opinion though, the shirtless guy owner or the staffs should at least dress properly. A uniform perhaps could give an impression of real business. For a resort expected to be known internationally, a shirtless owner from day 1 to day 4 is not very professional at all.

Also the resort could be more strict by not playing a video game directly at the restaurant/reception’s smart tv where it is visible to all guests. (Not to mention that the shirtless owner is the one playing).. at least try to look decent in front of the guests.

These small details are not conforming with the hotel/resort vibes. ...shame cause it’s really a cool place.

Good thing they have WooWoo to keep the mood up. Love this little guy. Unlike the guy owner, WooWoo greeted us with a welcoming wag the moment we got in the place.

This resort is in a quiet location that is away from the main tourist destinations on Bohol and Panglao Island, but shouldn't go against not staying at this very nice resort. Our room was a family room and the size was adequate for what we needed. The swimming pool was clean and inviting with a few sun beds around. The food in the restaurant was tasty and reasonably priced, as were the drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful, although they could do with another staff member at meal times. Although the resort is a little way from the main attractions and Alona Beach, the resort run a courtesy bus to Alona Beach once a day. They can also arrange car & motorcycle rentals and tours of Bohol and Panglao Island.

Stayed here for 3 nights. the staffs are accommodating to our needs. There's a pool just outside our cottage. Food is ok not so special. I ordered crispy pata but the portion was almost half of the pork hind..

Nice place in Panglao. It is great place especially if you rent motorbike. From this place to all best beaches is 6-8km. There is one beach very near, however it is not that nice comparing to other beaches.
Room was nice and service was really great. Staff helped us with everything we needed.
Also ordered laundry and it was great and not expensive.
We also rented motorbike.

Veraneante is a really pretty place in a rather out of the way area of Panglao island. Getting to Alona beach, where most of the entertainment is, is about 10 minutes away by tricycle. The hotel themselves offer a free shuttle at 5pm, back at 9pm but a tricycle is 150 pesos so going any time is not a problem.

Hotel restaurant is decent and they offer a nice breakfast for free to all guests. Restaurant is open till 9pm so if, like us, you're arriving late think of getting something to eat.

One good option is La Familia restaurant which is close by .. pretty place with excellent and well priced food.

The pool at the resort is open all hours and, in December, was actually warmer than the air and very pleasant.

The rooms are spacious with a nice shower.

A trip to the public market about 1.5km away (on foot or by tricycle) is great for stocking up and avoiding the tourist pricing so prevalent in Bohol.

I recommend heartily!
