Arrived at about 1:45 and was told that check in was at 14:00 which I thought was rather petty bearing in mind it was only 15 mins. Sat in the bar and had a coffee until 14:00. Room was nice, neutral colours and clean with a comfortable bed. Had a snack in the bar area (Brasserie) before heading off for a walk along the sea front.
As we had a special package (dinner and bed and breakfast), we were told there was no possibility to include this option as part of our special package but hey ho, plenty of good choices on the menu.
Really liked the Wreckers bar and the gentleman prepared some lovely cocktails. Dinner was in the Brasserie which looked more like a canteen than a dining room but the food was good.
Slept well and up early for breakfast the next morning. Somewhat put off by the bread which was left in the plastic wrapper and there seemed to be an abundance of staff milling around.
I must say I enjoyed my short stay and the staff were very friendly. To me it seemed logical to have the dining room where Wreckers is located and the bar in the Brasserie area, particularly as the kitchen was quite a walk from the Brasserie.
