As always, a safe and enjoyable experience for the children. As always, the sand getting everywhere is a significant item of discussion :-)

We hired a car a drove to Port de Pollença, and parked on far side of the road from the beach. Parking was easy and, best of all, free! However, the further into the resort you go, the less parking there is. So I’d definitely recommend parking a little out of the main town.

The beach is beautiful and clean, and the views are gorgeous. There are sunbeds for hire, and each come with a small locker built into the umbrella. However, we chose to save our money and put a beach towel down next to the sea.

It’s very much a family beach, with a really relaxed feel.

The sea was clean and above all we felt safe with the life guards visible on their stand or walking the beach.

There are plenty of shops further into the resort, and heading out of Pollença towards Alcudia, watersports such as Windsurfing.

If you’re anywhere near the area, a visit here is a must.

We had a lovely week here with our two kids (2 and 4).

A great waterfront with lots of family friendly cafes and restaurants plus playgrounds. We didn’t have a bad meal all week.

The beach itself is well kept and has plenty of sunbeds with shade and the water is very calm and shallow (beach is sandy but there are stones in the sea).

A destination we’ll go to again.

This was the third year to Pollença and this year we took our 2 daughters and their boyfriends for a special birthday celebration.

We went on the beach everyday. It’s clean, lots of sun beds and a man comes round selling fruit from a wheelbarrow! The sea is clean and calm, perfect for tots. There is also volleyball and water sports.
