Service is absolutely shocking at Lupa,Westville. We were there for lunch on 9 June 2018.Don’t waste time sitting there when the management and staff don’t care. We had 2 lovely meals there previously and decided to return and to take our family and grandchildren for a treat. Well, never again. There is a limit to how long any patron is expected to wait for a meal and surely children are not expected to wait 30 mins for an ice cream cone. The children’s bolognaise mince on the menu tasted appalling. Is the manageress restricted to the front counter,or does she actually attend to patrons? Perhaps she could be trained to be intuitively perceptive to patrons and to be aware that service is needed by the patrons. We had to get up and ask to place an order. We had to get up and ask for drinks. We had to get up to ask where our food was and we had to get up to ask why an ice-cream cone takes 30 mins to get to table. To top it all off, we had to get up and ask for our bill. There were 8 small tables with people that day and a baby shower table of 16 people. We were one of the eight tables and we were a table of six people. When we complained we were told that ALL the staff where busy attending to the baby shower group. Personally, if the staff cannot cope with one group of 16 patrons, then the restaurant should be closed to others. We will definitely not be back and judging from the other 7 tables neither will any of them.
