Ngwenya experience

Very pleasant stay with good service. Accommodation and overall experience was very satisfying. Will visit them again. Location so close to the Kruger Park is a wonderful plus. Plenty to do for children during the day.

Ngwenya Visit

thanks for the quality service, whole unit was neat and clean, all equipment functioning well. We had a wonderful view onto the river and surrounding area. The Resort is a top resort in SA. Thanks so much for a pleasant experience.

Great place

Accommodation is well designed, comfortable, fully equipped and serviced daily. Staff are efficient and friendly. The grounds of the lodge are pleasant and well maintained. Restaurant and other facilities are excellent. Beautiful views across the river to the Kruger Park. A great place to spend a few relaxing days.

A treat next to the Kruger National Park

My wife and me stayed over for the weekend at the Ngwenya Lodge (which incidentally has been a revisit for many enjoyable times) and can add that this Lodge does itself proud in the manner it is kept in such beautiful fashion. The accommodation is rated as very comfortable, clean and well cared for. The reception ladies are really an asset to the Lodge and it is worth mentioning that the restaurant and open deck is worthwhile to visit.

Room tip: Higher floors have lovely bush and riverviews. Especially those nearer to the river

Excellent Location close to Kruger Park

We stayed in a non river facing unit at Ngwenya.
The unit was an upstairs one, with a very nice big balcony and deck area.
The unit is well appointed however there were two small aspects that surprised me. Firstly there was no tea/coffee hospitality pack in the unit, so you can have a hot drink on arrival, secondly the units do not a hairdryer as standard, but you can rent a hairdryer which surprised me.
I was disappointed that we had no river view, and to be honest 90% of the appeal of the place. is to be able to sit on your balcony and watch the game moving around overlooking the river!
The Kiosk /Shop is very basic with a very limited product range.

Room tip: River view units are a must, otherwise you are just at any other place in the bush.
