Good hotel

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 21 Oct 2024
For out of season a very busy and pleasant hotel. A lot of the facilities were closed, but had a great room with gaming.
Complimentary mini fridge topped up each day. One day no towels or water was left with a note saying it was too messy to clean??? But we kept it really tidy.
Buffet was good with a wide variety of foods.local restaurants were closed but sushi opened one night so we visited €20 per head all you can eat which I thought was good. Not worth booking premium as nothing open.
Pool was good with great slides, even for teenagers and plenty of new sun beds to choose.
5 mins from train to get to Valencia in 1.5hrs approx.
Good value for money.

The service from Rizki and Mariul was amazing. They bean taking care of me and my family members every evening. They were polite and very communicative, also having very good contact with our youngest family member. I will definitely recommend this place for my friends and will definitely come back in the future.

There are a lot of elements to a holiday here.
Don't expect too much but there are lots of good points.
Firstly upgrade to the ultra all inclusive or it's very basic
We paid £342 for 2 adults 5 kids.
If you don't book ultra you carnt use the facilities, the hotel only has a small pool in the shade and a baby pool which was closed down while we were there because it's in a bad state, my daughter and another little girl cut them self on the broken tiles at the bottom .
There is a water park at the sister hotel, this is really good
The food is aimed predominantly at Spanish
guests, however we always found something.
The food is actually cold sometimes so watch out for this.
The beach is only a few minutes walk , it's a nice beach and pretty quiet.
I also have to point out, although it's Spain, it's very predominantly Spanish tourists and very little English is spoken by staff.
As we were ultra all inclusive we used the burger bites , it's ok. The other restaurant is a grill, this was really disappointing as I thought being a grill we would get steak but it's a set menu with veal for main.
The rooms have Xbox in with some limited games and the rooms are very small.
The game place is ok, you again have to book ultra to use it and only get 50 minutes in there.
The characters are good and interact well with children.
If you are ulta all inclusive you have use of the small theme park, this is pretty good but please be aware there are literally 1000s and 1000s of mosquitoes there! Take repellent or you will get bit!
There's no evening entertainment which was disappointing but all in all an ok holiday. Wouldn't ever return.
Highlight was the water park for the kids.

Room tip: Upgrade to ultra all inclusive

Having 2 teenagers, we booked this room to have plenty of space. There are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, tv and bathroom (which includes 2 sinks, a shower and bath). There are some nice touches such as the mirror with lights and references to popular games.

The main room has a PS5, a car simulator (linked to the PS5) and an arcade games machine. There is also a pull out single bed, a comfy chair and a table and chair. We are using the main area as a bedroom as the teenagers cannot share.

The bathrooms have not been updated, but they are large and fit the purpose.

The balcony is quite long with a table and 3 chairs with a beautiful view of the beach. The balcony on the website is the one with the jacuzzi. Although thinner, the balcony is still long and fits our needs.

We still need to try out all the facilities, but so far, we’re happy.

Sheet hotel, Dirty rooms, no products in the rooms, lifeguards are watching mobile phones all the time, not good food and only old people, not nice service and I really don't recommend this place to anyone. It looks like an abandoned town.
Absolutely sheeeeeet everything.

We have just returned from 1 weeks stay at Magic Games hotel. After reading the reviews i was so worried but actually we had an amazing week we had xbox in the room which was very clean and organised. There was plenty of choice of food at meal times both English and Spanish cuisine.
The waterpark was great too we spent many fun hours here over the week. We upgraded to Ultra-all inclusive and we ate in the burger bites restaurant the food was really nice and our boys loved the fact that our food was brought to the table by a robot, the theme park was a nice couple of hours out (its not massive, so dont go expecting drayton manor or alton towers), we also booked the magic show which was funny and loved the mini disco at the end with characters.
The Magic play zone is also great for adults and kids, there was karaoke, dance mat, ps5's, xbox's, car games with proper seat, steering wheel and pedals, vr area, vr simulator ride and some old retro arcade type games i.e tetris, street fighter etc all free but has to be booked on the app each session is approx 50 mins as they then kick out ready for next session again we did this 2-3 times our boys have said the whole holiday is "a gamers paradise"
The land train was also very good and easy to access, you get on and off as much as you want too its free of charge.
During our stay we were lucky enough to see the halloween parade which was really good too.

We will definitely be returning in the future but will be wanting to experience peak season as the season finished on 4th September so a lot of places were shut but we still had a great time with lots to do and the beach is a few minute walk from the hotel
