Fantastic location, very relaxing. Easy walk into town where there were plenty of restaurants, pubs, cafe.
Accommodation very comfortable, had everything you needed, including rowing boat which was great fun.
Only down side - stairs up to top floor not suitable for small children or elderly.
My family and I have recently visited Swan Cottage for a 4 day break on the Norfolk Broads. Upon arrival the cottage struck us as charming and tranquil. After taking a look around we were impressed with the facilities in the cottage as it has everything you would need for a longer stay than ours. Every room was clean and tidy and the upstairs bedroom where I slept, had very comfy beds indeed!!
The gem of this cottage however has to be the views through the living room onto the decking, overlooking the water and the accompanying dinghy which can be used at your disposal. We did take it out for a row one evening to get to know the river better and had a lot of fun. Another surprise is the resident heron who arrived every morning without fail to greet us!
The cottage is located within a stones throw of the famous Roy's of Wroxham which has everything you could need. The villages of Wroxham and Hoveton are littered with excellent pubs and small cafés so you'll never be short of a place to grab a coffee in the sun or have a lovely filling evening meal.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swan Cottage and would not hesitate in coming back again.
I only have one very minor criticism - that it might have been nice to have hand soaps or just soap on the bathrooms already along with kitchen towel and washing up detergent in the kitchen. This would have really made it even more comfortable.
