Recently spent 4 nights here and felt like an unwelcome guest. I ate in the restaurant the first night and waited nearly an hour for my pasta, which when it arrived was not what I had ordered. The pasta was actually quite good but the service was so grudging that as a solo traveller, I felt quite uncomfortable.Luckily there are two supermarkets close by as otherwise , if you are without transport, you are stuck for food.
Breakfast was very limited and was served in the main restaurant in semi-darkness.The first morning there was fresh bread and a croissant but after this there was no fresh bread.
On a positive note, the hotel has free wifi ( if you sit in reception) and sky Tv. They will also pick you up from the station if you call first.Rooms are clean and spacious.Supposedly a non-smoking hotel but the proprietors smoke in the reception area.More
- Free Wifi
- Free parking
